Plan and buy cover · ODC / OWC
Plan and buy shipment cover for ODC / OWC.
Drop your invoice, packing list or e-way bill. The page reads the weight, size, HSN and value in your browser, works out the lashing, builds your warranty and SOP, and sends the cover request. Four clicks, or three if the documents are clear.
- Free, no sign-in
- Documents never leave your browser
- Lashing worked out for you
- SOP you can print
Start shipmentCommon ODC / OWC HSN codes
An independent iCargoFinsure planning and training tool. Warranty clauses are proposals for discussion, not policy wording, and every probability is an illustrative game prior, not an insurer’s rate.
Three steps
1. Drop documents
Invoice, packing list, lorry receipt, e-way bill, driving licence. PDF, photo or text. Weight, size, HSN, value, trailer and driver experience are read for you.
2. Check the plan
The plan builds itself: lashing count, the odds across the eleven shipment states S0 to S10 and an editable SOP.
3. Send the request
Name, email, one tick, send.

Lashing, worked out from your documents
| Condition | Friction | Forward | Side | Rear | Tipping | Lashings |

Teaching model: direct lashings at an assumed 45 degrees, forward 0.8 g, side and rear 0.5 g (EN 12195-1 and the CTU Code, simplified). A surveyor’s lashing plan always wins.

HSN guide
HSN headings that ODC / OWC cargoes most often fall under
Grouped by the kind of project cargo. The order is editorial, based on the cargoes this site covers, not a customs statistic. Headings are indicative: confirm the 8-digit ITC-HS code on your invoice with your customs broker before you file.

Checked against public tariff listings: the kVA tiers of heading 8504 (ITC-HS 8504 on EximPe) and 8502 31 wind-powered generating sets (HSN 85023100 on Busy). Blades are commonly declared as parts under 8503; customs has the final say. Third-party listings are not the official tariff: use the CBIC Customs Tariff.
How it is built, and its limits
The walk
The shipment is a chain over the states S0 to S10 (inland moves use S0, S1, S6, S9). At each visit it moves forward, stays (a delay), goes back one state (re-work) or drops into the claim state. Delivery and claim end the walk. Your decisions and the real-life changes multiply the base chances. The results page solves the chain exactly and checks it with 2,000 random walks.
The lashing
Securing forces follow the road accelerations in EN 12195-1 and the CTU Code in simplified form: forward 0.8 g, side and rear 0.5 g, less friction, plus grade and a tipping check. Wet decks cut friction. Lashings count at their rated strength times cos 45°.
What it is not
It is not a survey, a permit, a certified lashing calculation or an insurance quote. The base chances are game priors, not loss data. Real terms come from an insurer after a proper review, which is what the request step starts.
Questions
Is the game free?
Yes. The game, the HSN guide and the SOP curator are free, need no sign-in and run in your browser. Nothing is sent to us until you choose Request this cover.
Can I buy insurance on this page?
No policy is issued or charged here. Request this cover sends your plan as a bid, and the iCargoFinsure team replies on the email you give.
Are the probabilities real?
They are illustrative game priors, not actuarial rates and not an insurer’s figures. They show how choices move the odds, not what a particular cover will cost or pay.
Is my data stored?
The plan and the SOP stay in your browser’s storage. Only the cover request form sends anything, and only what it shows you.
